Sharpening log
- 3/7/2022: purchased the knife
- 4/26/2022: initial sharpening with #1200, #5000, and #8000.
- 7/25/2022: experienced some micro chipping, and sharpened with #1200, #5000, and #8000.
- 8/23/2022(observation): one micro chip developed on the edge.
Sharpening interval: 3 months
Note: I am not recording the dates when I strop the knife between sharpening. The main goal of this log is to have some real life data points about the edge retention of VG10 hardened to 59-60HRC.
