After reading “Keeping the friction“, I made a comment on twitter saying “A life without any friction is a life not well lived.”
The first sip of water after a long hike tastes especially sweet. The first bicycle ride after many tries feels extremely satisfying. When we strive to surmount obstacles, we experience a feeling of achievement.
The challenge lies in finding the right amount of friction, ensuring it’s not so overwhelming that we give up, yet not so minimal that life becomes monotonous.
